The Storytellers Club

Kenoma Theatre Company presents The 2nd Annual Storytellers Club, a developmental-program aiming to provide knowledge, experience, and a professional mindset to being a theatrician. The Storytellers Club (STC) program involves two separate courses - an Acting Course & a Directing Course; both courses are led by instructor & theatrician Moustafa Khalil. This program is for those seeking to be students of the medium first and foremost so that they can develop certain adaptable abilities to later pursue a professional career. The directing course and the acting course separately go through a 10-session process delving into practical processes of both crafts. At the end of the 10-session period, both classes will merge where the directors will audition and cast from the acting course for scenes the directors have been developing in their own course. Eventually, there will be a showcase of the scenes at a theatre space to an open audience to finalize the program.
