In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Egyptian Philharmonic Society, businessman and pianist Samih Sawiris will take the stage at the Cairo Opera House on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, for a special one-night performance with the Egyptian Philharmonic Orchestra.
The evening will be conducted by Maestro Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer and Maestro Ahmed El-Saedi, blending global and local artistry in a concert that goes beyond music.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Red Crescent in support of Palestinian refugees from Gaza, making this cultural evening both a tribute to classical music and a humanitarian gesture of solidarity.
